HEAVEN AND HELL To Guest On SIRIUS' 'Bloody Roots'
April 10, 2007HEAVEN AND HELL — the band featuring BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler, singer Ronnie James Dio, and drummer Vinny Appice (BLACK SABBATH, DIO) — will be the featured guests on this week's "Bloody Roots" on Sirius Satellite Radio. "Hear first hand accounts of the difficult creation of 'Heaven and Hell' and 'Mob Rules' albums, plus comical accounts of Tony Iommi's practical jokes, and decades of perspective on the heavy metal phenomenon," according to a press release. "Host Ian Christe guides the heaviest quartet on Earth with an iron hand, and plays raw tracks from their earliest days to shake the stories loose."

HEAVEN AND HELL made its U.S. live debut on March 30 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The entire show — which featured no opening acts — was filmed/recorded for an upcoming DVD and CD, to be released before the end of the year via Rhino.
